Youth organizations in Poland and Ukraine as a tool of communist propaganda

Niniejsza praca jest próbą porównania organizacji młodzieżowych które funkcjonowały w Polsce Ludowej i Radzieckiej Ukrainie. Celem tego badania było zbadanie aspektów ich działalności, roli jako narzędzia komunistycznej propagandy oraz ustalenie poziomu podobieństwa i różnic pomiędzy tymi organizacjami w obu krajach.W pracy zastosowano metodę historyczną-porównawczą oraz analizę materiałów historycznych. Dzięki temu ujawnione zostały liczne podobieństwa, a także pewne różnice dotyczące różnych aspektów działania organizacji młodzieżowych.

This work is an attempt to compare youth organizations that were functioning on the territories of the Polish People's Republic and Soviet Ukraine. Its objective was to examine the main aspects of their activities, their role as a tool of the communist propaganda, and to identify the extent of their similarities and differences between the organizations in each country. For the purpose of the research the historical-comparative method was used, along with the analysis of the historical sources. As a result, many similarities have been found, as well as certain differences, which were primarily related to different aspects of the functioning of these youth organizations.
