Niniejsza praca magisterska przybliża wykonywanie zawodu prywatnego detektywa na tle obowiązujących regulacji prawnych w Polsce, jego tajników oraz specyfiki funkcjonowania. Jej celem jest przede wszystkim analiza szeregu przepisów regulujących ten zawód, począwszy od zasad ogólnych, warunkach uzyskiwania licencji, obowiązków zawodowych, uprawnień, jak również poruszenie problematyki ochrony danych osobowych oraz granic ingerencji w życie prywatne jednostek.
This master's thesis presents the profession of a private detective against the background of the legal regulations in Poland, its nuances and the specific nature of its functioning. Its primary aim is to analyze a range of provisions governing this profession — starting from general principles, the conditions for obtaining a license, professional duties, and entitlements — as well as addressing issues related to personal data protection and the limits of interference in individuals’ private lives
