Poniższa praca magisterska pt. ,,Zapis elektroencefalograficzny w stanie padaczkowym” porusza tematykę dotyczącą stanu padaczkowego wśród pacjentów Szpitala Uniwersyteckiego w Krakowie oraz identyfikację stanu padaczkowego za pomocą badania elektroencefalograficznego. Praca obejmuje zakresem historię elektroencefalografii, zasady działania oraz kluczowe informacje dotyczące rodzajów zapisów EEG, a także ich interpretacji. Wymienione są także podstawowe artefakty, które mogą wystąpić podczas badania elektroencefalograficznego. The following master's thesis, entitled "Electroencephalographic Recording in Status Epilepticus," explores the phenomenon of status epilepticus among patients of the University Hospital in Krakow and the identification of this condition through electroencephalographic (EEG) examination.The thesis presents the history of electroencephalography, explains its operating principles, and provides key information about different types of EEG recordings and their interpretation. It also describes common artifacts that may appear during EEG examinations.A crucial aspect of the thesis is the discussion of epilepsy, including its definition and the mechanisms underlying its manifestation in EEG recordings.This theoretical work focuses on presenting the characteristics of status epilepticus as observed in EEG studies conducted between 2020 and 2025 at the University Hospital in Krakow.
