Postępujące zmiany klimatu zwiększają częstość pojawiania się ekstremalnych zjawisk pogodowych. Rok 2024 obfitował w wysokie temperatury w Polsce. Celem pracy jest przedstawienie anomalii termicznych, które wystąpiły w 2024 roku w Polsce. W pracy wykorzystano metodę opisową (kompilacja literatury, analiza doniesień medialnych) oraz metodę statystyczną (obliczenie dni charakterystycznych i fal upałów). Większość miesięcy okazało się anomalnie ciepłe w porównaniu z okresem referencyjnym 1991–2020. W poszczególnych miesiącach było wiele dni gorących oraz upalnych. Na większości z analizowanych stacji wystąpiły fale upałów.
Progressive climate change is increasing the frequency of extreme weather events. The year 2024 was full of high temperatures in Poland. The aim of this study is to present the thermal anomalies that occurred in 2024 in Poland. The thesis used a descriptive method (compilation of literature, analysis of media reports) and a statistical method (calculation of characteristic days and heat waves). Most of the months turned out to be anomalously warm compared to the reference period 1991-2020. There were many hot days and heat waves in individual months. Heat waves occurred at most of the stations analysed.
