On the issue of the aspectual pair formation of anglicisms in modern Russian language

This article is devoted to the problem of grammatical assimilation of verbal borrowings of English origin in the modern Russian language. The purpose of the study is to determine the aspectual potential of verbal anglicisms, in particular the possibility of assimilation to the Russian aspectual system and methods of forming potential aspectual pairs. The material for the study is the vocabulary recorded in two dictionary sources. The collected database of verbs provides an analysis of the morphemic methods of assimilation of anglicisms and the possibilities of forming potential aspectual correlates using a set of affixes of the aspectual system of the Russian language. The morphemic combinatorics of the Russian affix and the English root are proof that the adaptation of anglicisms to the grammatical system of the Russian language is carried out according to the traditional mechanisms of grammatical development of borrowings.

Настоящая статья посвящена проблеме грамматической ассимиляции глагольных заимствований английского происхождения в современном русском языке. Целью исследования является определение видового потенциала глагольных англицизмов, в частности возможности ассимиляции к русской видовой системе и способы образования потенциальных видовых коррелятов. Материалом для исследования является лексика, зафиксированная в двух словарных источниках. Собранная база глаголов послужила для анализа морфемных способов ассимиляции англицизмов и возможностей образования потенциальных видовых коррелятов с помощью набора аффиксов видовой системы русского языка. Морфемная комбинаторика русского аффикса и английского корня являются доказательством того, что приспособление англицизмов к грамматической системе русского языка осуществляется согласно традиционным механизмам грамматического освоения заимствований. В видообразовании заимствованных глаголов наблюдаются случаи подстановки русской приставки или лексического калькирования.
