Praca ma na celu zapoznanie czytelnika z konstrukcjami otrzymywanymi metodą cięć i nakładania oraz podstawowymi ideami związanymi z tego typu konstrukcjami. Najpierw zostaje przedstawiony aparat teorii ergodycznej tyczący się podstawowych pojęć takich jak ergodyczność czy transformacja. Po tym następuje zasadnicza część pracy, która przedstawia kolejne konstrukcje i ich własności. Wśród nich znajduje się m.in transformacja Chacona. Równocześnie te konstrukcje służą za przykład ilustrujący konkretne techniki wykorzystywane w ramach metody cięć i nakładania.
The aim of this paper is to familiarise the reader with constructions obtained through the cutting and stacking method, as well as with the fundamental ideas related to such constructions. First, the apparatus of ergodic theory is presented, addressing basic concepts such as ergodicity and transformation. This is followed by the core part of the work, which presents various constructions and their properties. Among them is Chacon transformation. At the same time, these constructions serve as examples illustrating specific techniques used within the cutting and stacking method.
