Expressive conversational formulas used by young native French speakers. The analysis of three textbooks for learning French as a foreign language for older youths and adults

Aby czuć się komfortowo posługując się językiem obcym, należy wiedzieć, jak dostosować rejestr mowy do sytuacji językowej. Starsza młodzież i dorośli uczący się języka francuskiego muszą posiadać konkretne słownictwo, które pozwoli im uczestniczyć w codziennych rozmowach z rówieśnikami. Powyższa praca dotyczy ekspresyjnych formuł konwersacyjnych nierozerwalnie związanych z życiem codziennym, których definicję ustalono za pomocą pojęcia pragmatemu i frazeologizmu pragmatycznego. Część praktyczna pracy polega natomiast na analizie trzech podręczników do nauki języka francuskiego jako obcego (na poziomie A2 oraz B1), która umożliwiła wyciągnięcie wniosków na temat obecności ekspresyjnych formuł w najczęściej używanych podręcznikach. Praca zawiera również analizę zidentyfikowanych wyrażeń oraz propozycje udoskonaleń analizowanych podręczników.

In order to feel comfortable speaking a foreign language, it is essential to know how to adjust the register of speech to the language situation. Older adolescents and adults learning French must have a command of a specific vocabulary that will allow them to participate in day to day conversations with their peers. This research focuses on the expressive formulas of conversation inextricably linked to everyday life, the definition of which was established from the concept of pragmateme and pragmatic phraseologism. The practical part of the work involves the analysis of three textbooks for learning French as a foreign language at levels A2 and B1, which made it possible to draw conclusions about the presence of expressive formulas in the most frequently used textbooks. The work contains the investigation of the formulas identified as well as the proposals for improvement of the manuals analyzed.

Pour se sentir à l’aise en parlant une langue étrangère, il est essentiel de savoir ajuster le registre du discours à la situation langagière. Les grands adolescents et adultes qui apprennent le français doivent posséder un vocabulaire spécifique qui leur permettra de participer aux conversations quotidiennes avec leurs pairs. Cette recherche porte sur la question des formules expressives de la conversation inextricablement liées à la vie quotidienne, dont la définition a été établie à partir du concept de pragmatème et de phraséologisme pragmatique. En revanche, la partie pratique du travail consiste en l’analyse de trois manuels de FLE de niveaux A2 et B1 qui a permis de tirer des conclusions sur la présence de formules expressives dans les manuels les plus utilisés. L’ouvrage contient l’enquête des formules identifiées ainsi que les propositions d’amélioration des manuels analysés.
