Celem pracy jest ukazanie wyjątkowego charakteru konstrukcji Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), która obecnie stanowi najbardziej dochodową franczyzę w amerykańskiej kinematografii. W kolejnych rozdziałach opisana została przyczyna powstania Marvel Studios, odpowiadającego za produkcję ściśle powiązanych ze sobą filmów o superbohaterach. Przedstawiono proces przekazywania praw autorskich do fikcyjnych postaci przez Marvel Comics różnym wytwórniom filmowym ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem roli takich producentów, jak Avi Arad oraz Kevin Feige. W kolejnych częściach pracy ukazana została unikalna konstrukcja MCU oraz sposób dystrybucji poszczególnych filmów. The aim of this thesis is to showcase the unique structure of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), which currently stands as the most profitable franchise in American cinema. The subsequent chapters describe the origins of Marvel Studios, responsible for producing closely interconnected superhero films. The thesis outlines the process of transferring copyright of fictional characters from Marvel Comics to various film studios, with a particular emphasis on the roles of producers such as Avi Arad and Kevin Feige. Further sections of the thesis highlight the unique construction of the MCU and the distribution methods of individual films. It explains how the demand for superheroes among audiences contributed to viewers' attachment to Marvel Studios' productions and delves into the financial aspects of the franchise.
