The therapeutic function of handicrafts in the opinion of people dealing with handicrafts

Praca nawiązuje do wybranych zagadnień z zakresu teorii arteterapii oraz wpływu sztuki na życie człowieka. Przedmiotem zainteresowania jest rękodzieło, nie tyle w kontekście pracy, co terapii, poprzez tworzenie i wytwory sztuki. W pracy opisana jest szczegółowo arteterapia oraz jej terapeutyczne oddziaływanie, by pokazać w jaki sposób sztuka oraz rękodzieło może wpływać na człowieka.W drugiej części pracy przedstawione zostały wyniki badań przeprowadzone wśród osób zajmujących się rękodziełem. Badania te pomogły ukazać w jaki sposób rękodzieło spełnia funkcje terapeutyczne oraz udowodnić,że tworzenie oddziałuje na psychikę człowieka, jego nastrój i zachowanie.

The work refers to selected issues in the field of art therapy theory and the influence of art on human life. The object of interest is handicrafts, not so much in the context of work as in therapy, through creation and products of art. The work describes in detail artereotherapy and its therapeutic effect to show how art and handicraft can affect a person.The second part of the work presents the results of research conducted among people dealing with handicrafts. These studies helped to show how the handicraft fulfills its therapeutic functions and to prove that creation affects the human psyche, his mood and behavior.
