Temat mojej pracy magisterskiej brzmi: Otwarte fundusze emerytalne w polskim systemie emerytalnym. Instytucja otwartych funduszy emerytalnych została wprowadzona reformą z 1999 r. w celu poprawy systemu emerytalnego. Głównym celem mojej pracy jest odpowiedzenie sobie na pytanie, czy OFE wpływają korzystnie na funkcjonowanie polskiego systemu emerytalnego. Rozdział I zawiera wprowadzenie do problematyki II filaru systemu emerytalnego, opisuję w nim organizację oraz funkcjonowanie OFE. Ponadto w rozdziale pierwszym opisuję charakterystykę ich organu zarządzającego – powszechnego towarzystwa emerytalnego, następnie poruszyłam kwestię członkowstwa w OFE Rozdział II poświęciłam tematyce finansów OFE. Rozdział zaczęłam od charakterystyki działalności lokacyjnej, opisałam także kwestie związane z kosztami funkcjonowania OFE oraz kwestie wpływu funkcjonowania funduszy na polską gospodarkę oraz na finanse państwa. W ostatnim rozdziale poruszyłam problem wypłat emerytur kapitałowych oraz ich wysokości.

The theme of my master's thesis is: Open pension funds in the polish pension scheme. The institution of the open pension funds was introduced by the reform of 1999 in order to improve the health of the pension system. The main purpose of my thesis is to answer the question whether OFE affects positively the functioning of the Polish pension system. The chapter I contains the introduction to the second pillar of the pension system and describes the organization and functioning of the OFE. Moreover, in the first chapter, I have described the characteristics of their executive organ - common pension society, then I have brought up the issue of membership in the OFE. In the chapter II I have devoted the attention to finance. I started this chapter with the characteristics of investment activity, I have described the issue related to the cost of functioning of the OFE and the funds’ impact on the Polish economy and state’s finances. In the last chapter I brought up the issue of payments of capital pension and their amount.
