The first chapter says about Ludwik Jerzy Kern (1921-2010), who was a writer whose art was directed not only for adults and youth, but also for children. Moreover, he also wrote soundtrack lyrics, which have been well known ever since.Themes such as graphical poem, poetic devices, the role of rhyme, humour, the satiric perception of reality, joke, pun and the animal world are discussed in the second chapter.The third chapter presents the prose section of Ludwik Jerzy Kern's work of art which is designed especially for children. This is discussed on the example of books such as "Ferdynand Wspaniały", "Zbudź się Ferdynandzie" and "Proszę Słonia".
