Praca ma na celu przedstawić charakterystykę i ocenę systemu pomocy ofiarom handlu ludźmi w Polsce w kontekście obowiązujących rozwiązań zawartych w prawie krajowym i międzynarodowym. Autor w swojej pracy stara się odpowiedzieć na pytania: Czym jest handel ludźmi? Jakie są instrumenty ochrony ofiar handlu ludźmi? Jakie są formy pomocy ofiarom? Czy obowiązujący system prawny zapewnia właściwą ochronę ofiarom handlu ludźmi? Na powyższe pytania udzielono odpowiedzi w poszczególnych rozdziałach. Pierwszy rozdział zawiera definicje handlu ludźmi w świetle prawa krajowego oraz międzynarodowego. Rozdział drugi zawiera zagadnienia związane z ochroną prawną, identyfikacją ofiar handlu ludźmi oraz formy pomocy, z których mogą one korzystać. W ostatnim rozdziale dokonano analizy skuteczności obowiązującego w Polsce systemu ochrony ofiar handlu ludźmi.
The purpose of this academic paper is to present the characteristics of the human trafficking victim protection system in Poland and assess its accuracy in the context of local as well as international laws. The author of this work focuses on particular questions, which are:What is human trafficking? Which protection measures do exist for victims of human trafficking? How does the victim support look like? Does the current legal system provide human trafficking victims with appropriate protective measures?The foregoing questions are being answered in the following chapters: The first chapter explains the definition of human trafficking by local as well as by international law. The second chapter continues with issues concerning the legal protection, the identification of human trafficking victims and the form of aid, which victims may use. In the final chapter, the author analyzes the effectiveness of the local human trafficking victim protection system in force.
