Artykuł przedsatwia problemy jakie związane są z rejestracją wspólnot należących do gatunku Joke Religions, czy tez szerzej - Invented Religions, na przykładzie sprawy kościoła Latającego Potwora Spaghetti w Polsce. Przedstawione zostały tutaj różne podejścia badaczy do problemu invented Religions, propozycje definicji zjawiska oraz jego klasyfikacji. Dokładna analiza genezy, historii i doktryny Kościoła Latającego Potwora Spaghetti w porównaniu z podobnymi grupami o parodystycznym charakterze ukazała, że wspólnot takich nie można uznać za religie a ich oficjalna rejestracja stwarzać może poważne zagrożenia.

The article focuses on the problems connected with legal recognition of the communities, belonging to the category Joke Religions or Invented Religions, basing on the case of the Flying Spaghetti Monster Church in Poland. It presents various approaches of the scholars to the problem of Invented Religions, propositions of the definition and attempts of the classification of this phenomenon. Precise analysis of the origins, history and doctrine of the Flying Spaghetti Monster Church in comparison with similar parodistic groups, shows clearly, that such communities cannot be recognized as religions, and their legal registration may cause serious problems.
