TURKISH-POLISH DIPLOMATIC CORRESPONDENCE IN THE ERA OF SULEIMAN THE MAGNIFICENT

Głównym problemem badawczym swojej pracy autorka uczyniła korespondencję dyplomatyczną doby Sulejmana Wspaniałego z Królestwem Polskim. W niniejszej rozprawie, składającej się z sześciu rozdziałów, podjęła próbę kompleksowej analizy tejże korespondencji, przedstawiając ją w kontekście wydarzeń historycznych i związanych z nimi zmian w stosunkach osmańsko-polskich. Rozdział pierwszy przedstawia właśnie historię tych relacji zaczynając od początków nawiązania stosunków dyplomatycznych z Królestwem Polskim. Politykę Zygmunta I Starego wobec Turcji Osmańskiej. Pragnie przedstawić również w tym rozdziale osobę Sulejmana i nakreślić tło historyczne związane z jego panowaniem z uwzględnieniem jego działalności artystycznej i protektorskiej. Wspomnie także o przemianach jakich dokonał Sulejman i jego najbliższe otoczenie. Postara się streścić jak przebiegały stosunki z Królestwem za jego czasów. Rozdział drugi poświęcony jest natomiast samej dyplomacji i instytucjom ją tworzącym, za równo po stronie polskiej jak i osmańskiej. Dodatkowo szczegółowo opisana zostanie Kancelaria divan-i humayun kalemi, a także materiały jakie były potrzebne kancelarii do jej tworzenia i różne rodzaje pisma używane przy jej sporządzaniu. Dokumenty orientalne znajdujące się w AGAD jako całość zbiorów, a także stan ich badań ukazane są w rozdziale trzecim. Rozdział czwarty prezentuje zaś siedemnaście wybranych i szczegółowo opisanych dokumentów. W kolejnym rozdziale zamieszczony został słowniczek terminów tureckich pomocny w zrozumieniu pracy. Objaśnia on słownictwo używane przy analizie dokumentów. Rozdział szósty stanowi podsumowanie pracy. W aneksie natomiast załączono wszystkie ilustracje przedstawiające owe dokumenty.

The main problem of his research the author has made diplomatic correspondence the era of Suleyman the Magnificent with the Polish Kingdom. In this trial, consisting of six chapters, attempted a comprehensive analysis of that correspondence, presenting it in the context of historical events and the associated changes in the Ottoman-Polish relations. The first chapter presents the history of these relations, starting from the beginning of the establishment of diplomatic relations with the Polish Kingdom. Oriental documents found in AGAD as a whole collections, as well as the status of their research are shown in the third chapter. The fourth chapter presents the seventeen documents, selected and described in detail. The next chapter was posted glossary of Turkish vocabulary, which is helpful in understanding the work. It explains the vocabulary used in the analysis of documents. The sixth chapter is a summary of the work. The annex attached all illustrations of these documents.
