Description and archiving of lithological speciments and thin sections from the Lower Jurassic sediments of the Krizna nappe of the Western Tatra Mts.

Celem pracy było uporządkowanie i opis skał profilu Huciański Klin, które przynależą do większej kolekcji jurajskich skał osadowych płaszczowiny kriżniańskiej Tatr Zachodnich. W opisywanym profilu zapisane są zmiany zachodzące podczas pliensbachu–toarku w strefie wyniesionej domeny Fatrikum, należącej do zachodniego szelfu Oceanu Tetydy. Po ujednoliconej sedymentacji wapieni plamistych, wyniesienie części basenu skutkowało sedymentacją spikulitów, a wyniku dalszego spłycania zastąpieniem gąbek przez krynoidy i sedymentacją wapieni krynoidowych. Wapienie manganowe dolnego toarku są zapisem zjawisk hydrotermalnych i wytrącaniem Mn i Fe w pobliżu działającego uskoku synsedymentacyjnego. Czerwone wapienie bulaste dolnego toarku–?aalenu są zapisem pelagicznej sedymentacji w warunkach postępującej oligotrofizacji. Wapienie te są przykryte przez prawdopodobnie batońskie szare wapienie z Bositra. Opisy szczegółowe okazów zostały sporządzone na podstawie obserwacji makroskopowych i przedstawione w formie tabel.

The purpose of the work was to organize and describe the rocks of the Huciański Klin section, which belong to the larger collection of Jurassic sedimentary rocks of the Krizna nappe in the Western Tatra Mts. The section records sedimentation changes which occurred during the Pliensbachian-Toarcian in the elevated zone of the Fatrikum domain, belonging to the western shelf of the Tethys Ocean. After unificated sedimentation of spotty limestones, elevation of a part of the basin resulted in sedimentation of spiculites, and as a result of further shallowing replacement of sponges by crinoids and sedimentation of crinoidal limestones. Manganese limestones from the lower Toarcian are a record of hydrothermal phenomena and the precipitation of Mn and Fe near the functioning synsedimental fault. Nodular limestones of the lower Toarcian-Aalenian are a record of pelagic sedimentation in conditions of progressive oligotrophization. These limestones are covered by probably Bathonian gray limestones with Bositra. Detailed descriptions of the specimens were prepared on the basis of macroscopic observations and presented in the form of tables.
