Niniejsza praca przedstawia zagadnienia dotyczące ekwiwalentu pieniężnego za niewykorzystany urlop wypoczynkowy. W pracy przeanalizowano kwestie związane z nabyciem prawa do ekwiwalentu pieniężnego, zasady jego obliczania, dziedziczność uprawnień do ekwiwalentu pieniężnego po zmarłym pracowniku oraz inne istotne szczegółowe zagadnienia związane z analizowaną kwestią, do których można zaliczyć przysługiwanie prawa do urlopu oraz ekwiwalentu pieniężnego za jego niewykorzystanie w naturze w zatrudnieniu niepracowniczym typu cywilnoprawnego, sytuacji prawnej pracownika tymczasowego w kontekście ekwiwalentu za niewykorzystany w naturze urlop wypoczynkowy, uprawnień urlopowych pracownika delegowanego do innego państwa celem świadczenia pracy, ugody i jej postanowień dotyczących ekwiwalentu pieniężnego, kształtowania się prawa do powyższego świadczenia w okresie wypowiedzenia umowy o pracę oraz jego ochrony. Niniejsza praca ma na celu zapoznanie czytelnika z zasadami kształtowania się prawa do ekwiwalentu pieniężnego za niewykorzystany urlop wypoczynkowy oraz z metodą obliczania jego wysokości.

This paper presents issues concerning the cash equivalent in lieu of leave. It examines the questions related to the acquisition of the right to the cash equivalent in lieu of leave, the rules of its calculation, inheritance rights to the cash equivalent in lieu of leave of a deceased worker and other relevant specific issues related to the analyzed questions, which could include the right to the annual leave and the right to the cash equivalent in lieu of leave to employment on the basis of a civil contract, the legal situation of a temporary employee in the context of the cash equivalent in lieu of leave, the holiday entitlements of the employee delegated to another country in order to perform work, settlement and its provisions concerning the cash equivalent in lieu of leave, establishing the right to the cash equivalent in lieu of leave in the notice to terminate a contract of employment and its legal protection. This paper aims to familiarize the reader with the principles of establishing the right to the cash equivalent in lieu of leave and the method of calculating its amount.
