Gifted student in primary school

Celem niniejszej pracy magisterskiej o charakterze empirycznym było ukazanie pozytywów płynących ze współpracy ucznia zdolnego z nauczycielem. W części teoretycznej na podstawie analizy literatury przedmiotu przedstawiono najważniejsze pojęcia dotyczące funkcjonowania ucznia zdolnego w szkole podstawowej. Ukazane zostały również prawne uwarunkowania kształcenia uczniów zdolnych oraz znaczenie współpracy nauczycieli i rodziców ucznia zdolnego w procesie jego wychowania i kształcenia. Część badawcza została oparta m.in na wywiadach, dzięki którym zostały wskazane postawy nauczycieli wobec uczniów zdolnych oraz pełnione przez nich role w procesie edukacji tychże dzieci. Innym aspektem pracy było przedstawienie postaw rówieśników wobec uczniów zdolnych, a także sposobów ich diagnozowania. W przeprowadzeniu badań posłużono się analizą dokumentów, metodą sondażu diagnostycznego oraz metodą obserwacji.

The aim of this master’s thesis was to show the positive aspects of the collaboration between gifted student and his teacher. In the theoretical part, based on the analysis of the literature on the subject shows the most important concepts regarding to the functioning of a gifted student in primary school. The master’s thesis also shows the legal conditions of the education of a gifted student and the importance of cooperation between teachers and parents of a gifted student in the process of his upbringing and education. Another aspect of the work was to present the attitudes of peers towards gifted student and the ways of diagnosing. The analysis of the documents, method of the diagnostic survey and method of observation were used in carrying out the research.
