Endeavor to divinity of Alexander the Great

Tematem pracy jest dążenie Aleksandra Wielkiego (356 – 323 p.n.e.) do osiągnięcia boskości. W pracy skupiam się na przyczynach kształtowania potrzeby Aleksandra, aby konkurować ze swoimi wielkimi przodkami oraz bogami, a także procesowi samej realizacji jego obsesji. Macedończyk to postać nietuzinkowa, która w młodości kształtowała się pod okiem bardzo wyraźnych postaci, takich jak Filip II, Olimpias, a także Arystoteles. Będąc pod wpływem tak silnych osobistości Aleksander szybko zapragnął osiągnąć więcej niż wszyscy przed nim. Po śmierci Filipa, młody król staje przed szansą złamania potęgi Perskiej. Przemierzając Azję młody Agreada zdobywa coraz większą sławę i pokazuje swój wielki talent militarny tak, że zaczyna przewyższać swoimi osiągnięciami nawet legendarnych przodków.

The theme of the thesis is the aspiration of Alexander the Great (356-323 BC) to achive divinity. In my work, i focus on the causes of appearing Alexander’s need to compete with his great ancestors and gods, as well as the process of realizing his obsession. Macedonian is an extraordniary figures, who in his youth was shaped by very clear figures such as Philip II, Olimpias and Aristotle. Being under the influence of such strong personalities, Alexander early started to want achieve more than everyone else before him. After the death of Philip, the young king faces a chance to break Persian Power. Traversing Asia, young Agreada gains fame and shows his great military talent so that he begins to outperform even his legendary ancestors.
