Tombs of the facade in Petra.

Celem pracy jest omówienie problematyki związanej z budową grobowców fasadowych w Petrze. W szczególności skupiono się na przedstawieniu typologii i chronologii grobowców. Przeprowadzono próbę omówienia tego zagadnienia w oparciu o studia Alfreda von Domaszewskiego. Dokonano ich porównania z wynikami badań współczesnych uczonych, zwłaszcza w kwestii dotyczących chronologii. Poruszono temat historii, historii badań i topografii stanowiska. Podjęto próbę odpowiedzi na pytanie:, dla kogo i w jaki sposób budowano grobowce? Wskazano, że badania prowadzone przez uczonych w ciągu całego XX w., choć z niewielkimi zmianami, są nadal aktualne. A także, że dalsze studia pozwolą na lepsze zrozumienie kwestii związanych z tematyką grobowców fasadowych.

The objective study is to discuss issues related to the construction of tombs facade in Petra. In particular it focuses on the presentation of the typology and chronology of the tombs. Trial was carried out discussing this issue on the basis of studies of Alfred von Domaszewski. There have been their comparisons with the results of modern scholars, especially in matters relating to the chronology. Mentioned about the history, the history of research and topographic position. Attempts to answer the question: for whom and how the tombs were built? Indicated that the studies conducted by scholars throughout the XX century, they are still valid.
