In the modern, pluralistic world, the concept of adulthood is increasingly becoming a subjective construct (Glanc, 2011). Who, then, can be named a young adult nowadays? How is gratitude understood by it by him? This article is an attempt to answer these questions. Analyses of the research carried out on a group of 200 secondary school students at the age of 18 have shown how gratitude is understood by them.
