Analysis of the sociolect of sexual minorities in French language using the example of "Têtu" magazine articles

Praca licencjacka opisuje socjolekt francuskich mniejszości seksualnych. Składa się z dwóch części, teoretycznej i praktycznej. W części teoretycznej przedstawiono informacje dotyczące społeczności LGBT+, socjolingwistyki oraz narzędzia niezbędne do opisu tego socjolektu. Część praktyczna polega na analizie wybranych numerów francuskiego magazynu „Têtu” przy wykorzystaniu narzędzi przedstawionych w części teoretycznej. Głównym celem pracy jest ukazanie tendencji towarzyszących kształtowaniu się socjolektu LGBT+.

The bachelor's thesis focuses on the analysis of the sociolinguistic aspects of the sexual minority dialect in the French language. It consists of two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part provides information on the LGBT+ community, sociolinguistics, and the tools necessary to investigate this sociolinguistic phenomenon. The practical part involves the analysis of the French magazine “Têtu" using the tools discussed in the theoretical section. The main objective of the thesis is to showcase the tendencies associated with the formation of the LGBT+ sociolinguistic dialect.

Le présent mémoire de licence décrit le sociolecte des minorités sexuelles françaises. L’étude se compose de deux parties, théorique et pratique. La partie théorique présente des informations sur la communauté LGBT+, sur la sociolinguistique ainsi qu’un certain nombre d’outils nécessaires à l’étude du sociolecte en question. La partie pratique consiste en une analyse de quatre numéros choisis du magazine français « Têtu » à l'aide des outils présentés dans la section théorique. L'objectif principal de ce mémoire est de mettre en évidence les tendances associées à la formation du sociolecte LGBT+.
