The death penalty in view of the article 2 of the European Convention on Human Rigts

Praca pod tytułem: „Kara śmierci w świetle art. 2 Europejskiej Konwencji Praw Człowieka, zawiera omówienie kary najwyższej w świetle art. 2 przedmiotowej Konwencji, czyli potwierdzonego naturalnego prawa, jakim jest prawo do życia. Jednakowoż prawo to nie jest absolutne i w świetle tego artykułu podlega pewnym ograniczeniom, co zostało ukazane w niniejszej pracy. Została również przeprowadzona analiza Protokołów dodatkowych do Konwencji dotyczących kary śmierci, po to, by ukazać jak zmieniało się stanowisko Rady Europy w kwestii poszanowania życia. Praca zawiera także poboczny wątek, jakim jest próba przeanalizowania możliwości przywrócenia kary śmierci do polskiego porządku prawnego.

Master's thesis entitled: "The death penalty in the view of article 2 of the European Convention on Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms, provides an overview of the highest fines in the view of art. 2 of this Convention, which is confirmed by natural right, the right to life. However, this right is not absolute and in view of this article is subject to certain restrictions, which have been shown in this master’s. It has also carried out analysis of the analysis of the Additional Protocols to the Convention on the death penalty was carried out in order to show how the position of the Council of Europe on the issue of respect to life had been changing. The master’s also includes a side story, which is an attempt to explore the possibility of restoring the death penalty for the Polish legal system.
