Information users activity of online hobby portals on the example of the Filmweb portal

Praca magisterska omawia, w oparciu o literaturę przedmiotu oraz na podstawie wypowiedzi użytkowników na forum filmowym portalu Filmweb, sposoby porozumiewania się użytkowników na tego rodzaju specjalistycznych forach. Celem było nakreślenie ich przydatności informacyjnej dla różnego rodzaju użytkowników, a także sprawdzenie ich przydatności jako źródeł informacji na temat filmów. W pierwszej części pracy zostały opisane fora filmowe, w szczególności zaprezentowano ich cechy dystynktywne. W drugiej przedstawiono najważniejsze zagadnienia odnoszące się do potrzeb oraz zachowań użytkowników, a także do kryteriów oceny informacji w Internecie. Elementy te zostały zastosowane w trzeciej części do analizy aktywności informacyjnej użytkowników forum filmowego na portalu Filmweb. Na tej podstawie została sformułowana klasyfikacja użytkowników forów i ich potrzeb informacyjnych.

The master's thesis discusses, on the basis of the literature of the subject and on the basis of the users' statements on the film forum on the Filmweb portal, ways of communication of users on such specialist forums. The aim was to outline their usefulness for various types of users, as well as to check their suitability as sources of information about films. In the first part of the work, the film forums were described, in particular their distinctive features were presented. The second one presents the most important issues related to the needs and behavior of users, as well as to the criteria for assessing information on the Internet. These elements were presented in the third part to analyze the information activity of film forum users on the Filmweb portal. On this basis, the classification of forum users and their information needs was formulated.
