Teofil Lenartowicz to poeta romantyzmu. Dziś został zapomniany, chociaż kiedyś chętnie sięgano po jego tomiki. Co przyciągało czytelników? W mojej pracy staram się odpowiedzieć na to pytanie badając twórczość tego autora pod kątem bohaterów, jacy w niej występują. Zajęłam się kilkoma rodzajami postaci: kobietą, dzieckiem oraz postacią historyczną (artystą i patriotą). Każda grupa posiada pewne cechy wspólne i cechy różniące ją od pozostałych grup. Jedne są bardzo zróżnicowane wewnętrznie, inne są jednolite. Wszystkie kategorie zostały omówione na podstawie konkretnych utworów, zaś wnioski z tych rozważań zostały umieszczone w zakończeniu pracy.

Teofil Lenartowicz is a poet of romance. Today was forgotten, although he used to get used to his books. What attracted the readers? In my work I try to answer this question by examining the creativity of this author in terms of the characters that appear in it. I have dealt with a few types of characters: a woman, a child, and a historical figure (artist and patriot). Each group has some common features and features that differentiate it from other groups. Some are very different internally, others are uniform. All categories were discussed on the basis of specific works, and conclusions from these considerations were placed at the end of work.
