Żeński układ rozrodczy skorka Forficula auricularia ma stosunkowo prostą budowę. Składa się z jajników zbudowanych z licznych grup owariol meroistycznych, pary jajowodów bocznych, oraz jajowodu wspólnego, który poprzez otwór płciowy otwiera się na zewnątrz. Celem niniejszej pracy było zbadanie budowy jajowodów bocznych u tego gatunku. Struktury te zbudowane są z jednowarstwowego nabłonka leżącego na stosunkowo dobrze wykształconej blaszce podstawnej. Jajowodom towarzyszą liczne włókna mięśniowe i tchawki. Taka prosta budowa jajowodów jest związana ze strategią rozrodczą występującą u tego gatunku – jajorodnością.

Female reproductive system of an earwig Forficula auricularia has a relatively simple It is composed of paired ovaries of the meroistic type, paired lateral oviducts and a common oviduct leading to a genital opening. The main aim of this thesis was to describe the structure of lateral oviduct in this species. These organs are built of one-cell thick epithelium resting on a relatively well developed basal lamina. The oviducts are accompanied by numerous tracheal branches and muscle fibers. This rather simple structure of oviducts is related with reproductive strategy of a studied species – oviparity.
