Badane przedsiębiorstwa, to restauracje znajdujące się na terenie Krakowa. Celem pracy jest przedstawienie zarówno teoretycznych, jak i praktycznych aspektów zadań realizowanych przez menedżera w branży gastronomicznej; przeprowadzenie badań oraz przeanalizowanie ich wyników, uwzględniając charakterystykę menedżera oraz jego wpływ na sprawne funkcjonowanie instytucji.

The subject of the work is the competence of a manager in the catering industry. Described how they affect its operation and efficient functioning of the institution on the example of the gastronomy sector. The surveyed enterprises are restaurants located in Krakow. The purpose of the work is to present both theoretical and practical aspects of the tasks carried out by the manager in the catering industry; conducting research and analyzing their results, taking into account the characteristics of the manager and his impact on the efficient functioning of the institution
