The history of the formation of Polish phraseological thought

Artykuł dotyczy historii kształtowania się polskiej myśli frazeologicznej od połowy XIX w. do współczesności. Autor w szczególności skupił się na trzech wątkach: 1) rozwój terminologii frazeologicznej i zakres terminu frazeologia; 2) historia klasyfikacji związków frazeologicznych; 3) zasób frazeologii w perspektywie leksykograficznej (aspekt ilościowy). Jednym z postulatów zaproponowanych w artykule jest uwzględnienie w badaniach nad frazeologią pracy Jana Karłowicza Przyczynki do projektu wielkiego słownika polskiego (1876).

The article concerns the history of the formation of Polish phraseological thought from the mid-nineteenth century to the present day. The author focused in particular on three threads: 1) the development of phraseological terminology and the scope of the term frazeologia; 2) the history of the classification of phraseological units; 3) phraseology in the lexicographical perspective (quantitative aspect). One of the postulates proposed in the article is the inclusion of Jan Karłowicz’s work Przyczynki do projektu wielkiego słownika polskiego [Contributions to the project of a great Polish dictionary] (1876) in the research on phraseology.

Der Beitrag befasst sich mit der Entstehungsgeschichte des polnischen phraseologischen Denkens von der Mitte des 19. Jh. bis zur Gegenwart. Der Autor konzentriert sich insbesondere auf drei Themen: 1) die Entwicklung der phraseologischen Terminologie und der Umfang des Begriffs Phraseologie; 2) die Geschichte der Klassifizierung phraseologischer Verbindungen; 3) der Bestand der Phraseologie in lexikographischer Perspektive (quantitativer Aspekt). Eines der in dem Beitrag vorgeschlagenen Postulate ist die Berücksichtigung der Arbeit von Jan Karłowicz "Przyczynki do projektu wielkiego słownika polskiego" (1876) bei der Erforschung der Phraseologie.
