Notarial deed and copyright protection

Swoją pracę licencjacką poświęciłam poszukiwaniu odpowiedzi na pytanie, czy akt notarialny może zostać sklasyfikowany jako utwór zgodnie z polskimi przepisami prawa autorskiego oraz czy podlega on ochronie prawa autorskiego. Zwróciłam również szczególną uwagę na to, jakie konsekwencje może nieść za sobą zakwalifikowanie aktu notarialnego jako dokumentu urzędowego. Przeanalizowałam też specyfikę i strukturę aktu notarialnego oraz kwestie dozwolonego użytku i wyłączeń spod ochrony prawa autorskiego w odniesieniu do aktu notarialnego. Uważam, że przedstawione przeze mnie zagadnienie jest niezwykle istotne z perspektywy praktyki notarialnej i dlatego też warte było szczegółowego omówienia.

I devoted my bachelor thesis to finding an answer to the question whether a notarial deed can be classified as a creation in accordance with Polish copyright law and whether it is subject to copyright protection. I also paid particular attention to the consequences of classifying a notarial deed as an official document. I also analyzed the specifics and structure of a notarial deed as well as the issues of fair use and exclusions from copyright protection in relation to a notarial deed. I believe that the issue presented by me is extremely important from the perspective of notarial practice and therefore it was worth discussing in detail.
