Socio-economic changes in the municipality Sędziszów Małopolski after 2004

Praca dotyczy przemian społeczno-gospodarczych, które zaszły na obszarze gminy miejsko-wiejskiej Sędziszów Małopolski po 2004 roku. W pracy przedstawiono zmiany w sferze ludnościowej i gospodarczej. W zakres przedmiotowy pracy weszła także analiza i ocena głównych dokumentów planistycznych, jak Strategie Rozwoju Gminy Sędziszów Małopolski na lata 2014-2020 i 2021-2030. Unikatowe walory krajobrazowe, naturalne zasoby oraz relatywnie dobra sytuacja demograficzna w porównaniu z województwem stanowią atuty omawianej jednostki. Wśród kwestii problemowych zidentyfikowanych w pracy należy wskazać utrzymujący się stosunkowo wysoki poziom bezrobocia oraz następstwa pandemii COVID-19 w sferze gospodarki, wciąż nierozwiązane problemy w dziedzinie polityki społecznej.

The work deals with the socio-economic changes that occurred in the area of the urban-rural municipality of Sędziszów Małopolski after 2004. The work presents changes in the population and economic spheres. The thematic scope of the work also included the analysis and evaluation of the main planning documents, such as the Development Strategies of the Municipality of Sędziszów Małopolski for 2014-2020 and 2021-2030. Unique landscape values, natural resources and a relatively good demographic situation against the background of the province are the assets of the discussed unit. Among the problematic issues identified in the study are the continuing relatively high level of unemployment and the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic in the economic sphere, still unresolved problems in the area of social policy.
