Niniejsza praca magisterska mówi o poezji Arthura Rimbauda. Pierwsza część jest poświęcona zmianom, jakie dokonały się w poezji francuskiej w drugiej połowie dziewiętnastego wieku, na przykładzie poprzedników poety - Charlesa Baudelaire i Comte de Lautréamont, którzy wywarli największy wpływ na jego twórczość. Druga część koncentruje się na samym twórcy, jego krótkiej biografii, najważniejszych dziełach i rewolucji, jaką wprowadził do poetyki, zmieniając dotychczasowe pojęcie podmiotu lirycznego,funkcji, formy i roli poezji. W tej części poświęcono również uwagę pojęciu "poetyki wizjonera", "alchemii słowa" oraz tematyki poruszanej przez Rimbauda w odniesieniu do poetyki romantycznej. Drugi i ostatni rozdział kończy część poświęconej symbolizmowi Arthura Rimbauda.

This thesis talks about the poetry of Arthur Rimbaud. The first part focuses on changes that have taken place in the French poetry in the second half of the nineteenth century, in an example of Charles Baudelaire and Comte de Lautréamont, who exerted the greatest influence on Rimbaud's work. The second part focuses on the Rimbaud's life, his most important poems and the revolution introduced by him to the poetics : changing the concept of the lyrical subject, and also function, form and role of poetry. This chapter is dedicated also to concept of "visionary poetics", "alchemy of the word" and the main subjects of Rimbaud's poetry compared to romantic ones. The second and last chapter ends with a part dedicated to the symbolism of Arthur Rimbaud.

Le but de ce mémoire est de présenter la poésie, les idées et les aspirations poétiques d'Arthur Rimbaud. Dans le premier chapitre il de présente les changements dans la poésie française de la seconde moitié du XIXe siècle, sur l'exemple des plus grands représentants, Baudelaire et Comte de Lautréamont. Dans le deuxième chapitre consacré à Rimbaud, on se concentre sur les idées principales du poete : la voyance, le « je est un autre » et la conception de « la liberté libre du travailleur poétique », mais aussi sur le symbolisme rimbaldien.
