Przedmiotem niniejszej pracy jest stanowisko kierownika urzędu stanu cywilnego. Pierwszy rozdział poświęcony jest wykonywaniu tej funkcji przez wójta jak również możliwości zatrudnienia kierownika urzędu stanu cywilnego. Przedstawione zostają pojęcia z dziedziny prawa pracy. Drugi rozdział to analiza definicji "stanu cywilnego" jego genezy oraz próba wyczerpującego opisania zagadnienia. Trzecia część pracy opisuje zadania i kompetencje kierownika. Rozdział poświęcony nadzorowi przedstawia zasady kontroli i nadzoru w administracji. Ostatnia z części to prześledzenie zasad wprowadzania zmian i unieważniania aktów stanu cywilnego.

Position of the head of a civil register office is the subject of this dissertation. The first chapter examines executions of this function by the commune head and employment opportunities of the head of the civil registry office. Concepts in the field of labor law are presented. The second chapter is an analysis of the definition of the "civil status" and of its genesis. The third part of the thesis describes the tasks and competences of the head of a civil register office. The chapter on supervision presents the principles of control and supervision in administration. The last part is to follow the rules for making changes and invalidating civil status.
