Niniejsza praca poświęcona jest analizie polskiego i francuskiego tłumaczenia humoru w wybranych fragmentach dubbingowych wersji filmu „Luca” (2021) studia Pixar. Analiza skupia się na typach komizmu opisywanych przez Henriego Bergsona. Szczególna uwaga zwrócona tu została na komizm językowy. Pierwszy rozdział przedstawia tłumaczenie audiowizualne jak również jego typy (napisy, lektor i dubbing). Rozdział drugi skupia się na problemie adekwatności i akceptowalności w tłumaczeniu (ang. adequacy and acceptability). Rozdział trzeci porusza problem synchronizacji w dubbingu (synchronizacja ruchu warg, podzielona na izochronię i synchronizację fonetyczną, oraz synchronizacja kinetyczna), który w przypadku dubbingu jest czynnikiem decydującym, a w tej analizie - przedmiotem szczególnego zainteresowania. Rozdział czwarty otwiera część praktyczną. Ta część poświęcona została humorowi i jego typom. Każdy z wymienionych rodzajów komizmu zilustrowany został odpowiednim przykładem z filmu. Analiza służy ukazaniu różnych technik wykorzystywanych w polskim i francuskim tłumaczeniu w celu zachowania pożądanego efektu komicznego angielskiego oryginału.

This paper is devoted to an analysis of the Polish and French translations of humour in selected fragments of the dubbed versions of Pixar studios film “Luca” (2021). The analysis focuses on the types of comic described by Henri Bergson. Particular attention is paid here to comic of the language. The first chapter presents the audiovisual translation as well as its types (subtitling, voice-over and dubbing). The second chapter focuses on the problem of adequacy and acceptability in translation. The third chapter presents the problem of synchronisation in dubbing (lip synchronisation, subdivided into isochrony and phonetic synchronisation, and kinetic synchrony), a decisive factor in the case of dubbing, which is of particular interest to this paper. Chapter four opens the practical part of this work. This part is devoted to humour and its types. Each of the types of comic mentioned is illustrated by relevant examples from the film. The analysis of this examples serves to show the different techniques used in Polish and French translations in order to maintain the desired comedic effect of the English original.

Ce travail est consacré à une analyse des traductions polonaise et française de l'humour dans des fragments choisis des versions doublées du film du studio Pixar « Luca » (2021). Cette analyse porte sur les types de comique tels que décrits par Henri Bergson. Une attention particulière a été portée au comique de langage. Le premier chapitre présente la traduction audiovisuelle ainsi que ses types (sous-titrage, voice-over et doublage). Le deuxième chapitre se concentre sur le problème de l'adéquation et de l'acceptabilité dans la traduction (ang. adequacy and acceptability). Le troisième chapitre présente la question de la synchronisation dans le doublage (synchronisation labiale, subdivisée en isochronie et synchronisation phonétique, et kinésique), déterminante dans le cas du doublage qui intéresse plus particulièrement le présent propos. Le chapitre quatre ouvre la partie pratique. Cette partie est consacrée à l'humour et à ses types. Chaque type d'humour mentionné est illustré par des exemples représentatifs tirés du film. L’analyse de ces exemples vise à montrer les différentes techniques utilisées dans les traductions polonaise et française afin de préserver l'effet comique de l'original anglais.
