The role and importance of Park Chung Hee's economic policy in the development and functioning of chaebols

Tematem niniejszej pracy jest wpływ polityki rządu Park Chung Hee na rozwój południowokoreańskiej gospodarki, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem chaeboli. Autorka pracy skupia się na relacjach pomiędzy chaebolami, a stojącym na czele rządu generałem Park Chung Hee oraz wpływie tych relacji na ekonomię Korei Południowej. Przedstawiona została droga Park Chung Hee do prezydentury i motywy działań podjętych przez Parka w celu restrukturyzacji ekonomii Korei Południowej. Autorka dokonała również analizy sojuszu między rządem a chaebolami oraz struktury funkcjonowania południowokoreańskich konglomeratów.

The subject of this paper is the influence of the Park Chung Hee's government policy on the development of the South Korean economy, with particular emphasis on chaebols. The author of the work focuses on the relations between chaebols and the head of the government general Park Chung Hee, and the impact of these relations on the economics of South Korea. Futhermore, the paper presents Park Chung Hee's path to the presidency and the motives of actions taken by Park to restructure the economy of South Korea. The author also analyzed the alliance between the government and the chaebols and also the structure of functioning of the South Korean conglomerates.
