Anorexia and bulimia - eating disorders among young people.

W początkowych podrozdziałach niniejszej pracy zostały przywołane: klasyfikacja zaburzeń odżywiania się, wybrane definicje anoreksji i bulimii psychicznej oraz kryteria diagnostyczne obydwu tych schorzeń. Następnie przedstawiona została diagnoza różnicowa i epidemiologia wspomnianych wyżej zaburzeń odżywiania się. Dalsza część pracy poświęcona jest etiologii, patogenezie oraz obrazowi klinicznemu analizowanych zaburzeń łaknienia. W kolejnych podrozdziałach przedstawiono aktualne poglądy na temat leczenia anoreksji i bulimii psychicznej, z uwzględnieniem roli grup wsparcia i grup samopomocy.W drugim rozdziale scharakteryzowano rolę i zadania pielęgniarki w terapii i profilaktyce zaburzeń odżywiania.

In the early sections of this work have been cited: the classification of eating disorders, selected definitions of mental anorexia and bulimia and diagnostic criteria for both diseases. Then the differential diagnosis and the epidemiology of the eating disorders mentioned above have been presented.The rest of the work is devoted to the etiology, pathogenesis and clinical picture of eating disorders which have been analyzed. The following sections present the current views on the treatment of mental anorexia and bulimia - including the role of support groups and self-help groups. In the second chapter the role and tasks of nurses in the treatment of and prevention of eating disorders have been characterized.
