The collapse of Somalia statehood and its impact on the security in the region

Problemem poruszanym w niniejszej pracy jest zagrożenie bezpieczeństwa na świecie ze strony państw dysfunkcyjnych, na przykładzie Somalii - państwa, które już od ponad 20 lat zajmuje czołowe miejsca na prowadzonych przez Fundację dla pokoju i magazyn Foreign Policy listach rankingowych państw upadłych/kruchych.Skutki tego zjawiska, takie jak masowe migracje ludności w regionie, powodujące pojawienie się problemu uchodźców, występowanie klęsk głodu oraz złe warunki sanitarno –epidemiologiczne, prowadzące do wybuchów epidemii chorób zakaźnych, a przez to pogłębienia kryzysu, mają niewątpliwie wpływ na poziom bezpieczeństwa, a raczej na poziom jego destabilizacji, nie tylko w regionie, ale również na arenie międzynarodowej.

The problem raised in this work is the threat of security in the world from dysfunctional states, on the example of Somalia - a country that for over 20 years has been at the top of the ranking lists of bankrupt / fragile states run by the Foreign Policy Room and magazine.The effects of this phenomenon, such as mass migration of people in the region, causing the refugee problem, the occurrence of famines and poor sanitary and epidemiological conditions leading to outbreaks of infectious diseases, and thus the deepening of the crisis, undoubtedly affect the level of security, or rather on the level of its destabilization, not only in the region but also internationally.
