Standardy metadanych w polskich bibliotekach cyfrowych

Praca zawiera informacje na temat budowy i funkcjonowania najpopularniejszych w Polsce standardów metadanych: Dublin Core, MARC, RDF, OAI-PMH, a także platformy dLibra. Omawia też przykłady praktycznego zastosowania tych standardów w polskich bibliotekach cyfrowych. Zwrócono uwagę na korzyści wynikające ich stosowania, m.in wymianę metadanych między bibliotekami, skuteczna współpraca między nimi, a także poprawa jakości usług świadczonych przez biblioteki. Omówiono również problemy bibliotek wynikające z niedostatecznego ujednolicenia standardów. Aneksy zawierają zestawienie danych na temat polskich bibliotek cyfrowych.
This study includes information about a structure and functioning of Poland's most popular metadata standards: Dublin Core, MARC, RDF, OAI-PMH and dLibra platform. Also discusses examples of practical application of these standards in Polish digital libraries. Attention was drawn to the benefits of their use, including exchange of metadata between libraries, effective cooperation between them, and to improve the quality of services provided by libraries. It also discusses the problems arising from inadequate libraries uniform standards. The Annexes contains a summary of data about Polish digital libraries.
