The concept of folklore and song folklore in the works of poets of the 19th century: August Bielowski i Maria Konopnicka

W pracy omówione zostało pojęcie ludowości jako postawy zainteresowania ludem na przestrzeni XIX wieku. Wskazane zostały źródła, z jakich czerpano, tworząc konkretne koncepcje romantycznej i pozytywistycznej ludowości, a więc filozofia, nauka, folklorystyka, socjologia i kultura. Charakterystyki obu odmian postawy proludowej zostały porównane z działalnością Augusta Bielowskiego i Marii Konopnickiej i posłużyły jako materiał badawczy do analiz poezji obojga poetów pod kątem obecności w nich folkloru pieśniowego i charakteru inspiracji czerpanych z twórczości ludu.

In this essay I talked about the concept of folklore as an attitude of interest in people over 19th century. All the indicated and sources used by me create particular ideas of romantic and positivist folklore; those sources are philosophy, science, study of folklore, sociology and culture. The characteristics of both forms of folk concept were compared with the work of August Bielowski and Maria Konopnicka. They also served as a study material for the analysis of poetry of both poets as it comes to the presence of song folklore and type of inspirations drawn from people's work.
