Bastion Jazz Festival as an example of the activities of the Municipal Centre of Culture in Czchów

The primary objective of this work was to show the activity of cultural institutions in Czchów over 35 years of its existence. This involves the presentation of multiple activities and satisfying the evolving needs of residents and cultural description of the various forms of cultural education and education through art. More than that, this work describes the structural and organizational institutions, business offices and thresholds recurring events. In this study, study, subject to the educational institution that was the Municipal Cultural Centre in Czchów, which was built in the 70s on the basis of the rural commons. Through all the years the main objective of the Centre of Culture since the beginning of what today is the nation's cultural heritage has not substantially changed, and the mission and priorities have been largely shaped by the political situation in the country. 80's signal to bring the party rejected the idea of the priority objectives of GOK-u activity directed towards the needs of the local community organization which manifests sowing: plastic rings, theater, folklore groups and events with a massive, and the artistic presentation of folk artists. The '90s was a period of political transformation that marked the main objectives and priorities-in the GOK Czchowie. More space is devoted to creative environments, amateur artistic movement, tourism and children and adolescents. In 2003 is appointed municipal cultural center which is connected with the city rights by the recovering Czchów. The purpose of the center is over the years to meet its subordinate role to the local community. Strong point is the center of activity impresar and patronage of local art movement. The rich tourist offer, the organization routes, bicycle paths and viewing points are undeniable MOK-u domain. Research materials on the basis of which has been developed in this work were collected mainly in the MOK-u in Czchów. Some important information was also obtained: in the editorial, "Time Czchów", Municipal Library in Czchów and State Archives in Bochnia.

Podstawowym celem niniejszej pracy, było ukazanie działalności placówki kultury w Czchowie na przestrzeni 35 lat jej istnienia. Wiąże się to z przedstawieniem wielokierunkowej działalności rozwijającej i zaspakajającej potrzeby kulturowe mieszkańców oraz opisem różnorodnych form edukacji kulturalnej i wychowania przez sztukę. Ponad to praca ta zawiera opis przemian strukturalnych i organizacyjnych instytucji, działalność statutową i progami imprez cyklicznych. W niniejszym opracowaniu badaniu podlegała instytucja wychowawcza jaką był Gminny Ośrodek Kultury w Czchowie, który powstał w latach 70-tych na bazie świetlicy wiejskiej. Przez wszystkie kolejne lata główny cel Ośrodka Kultury od początku istnienia do dzisiaj jakim jest przez kulturowego dziedzictwa narodu zasadniczo się nie zmienił, natomiast misja i priorytety w dużej mierze kształtowane były według sytuacji politycznej w kraju. Lata 80-te przynoszą sygnał oddalenia się idei partyjnych z priorytetowych założeń działalności GOK-u zwracając się ku potrzebom lokalnej społeczności co przejawia się w organizowaniu: kółek plastycznych, teatralnych , zespołów folklorystycznych oraz organizacji imprez o charakterze masowym , oraz prezentacji dorobku artystycznego twórców ludowych. Lata 90-te to okres transformacji ustrojowej co zaznaczyło się w głównych celach i priorytetach GOK-u w Czachowie. Więcej miejsca poświęcono środowisku twórczemu, amatorskiemu ruchowi artystycznemu, turystyce oraz dzieciom i młodzieży. W 2003 zostaje powołany miejski ośrodek kultury co wiąże się z odzyskaniem praw miejskich przez Czchów. Celem ośrodka jest przez kolejne lata spełniać swoją służebną role wobec lokalnej społeczności. Mocną stronę ośrodka stanowi działalność impresaryjna oraz mecenat nad lokalnym ruchem artystycznym. Bogata oferta turystyczna, organizacja szlaków, ścieżek rowerowych i punktów widokowych to niewątpliwa domena MOK-u. Materiały badawcze na podstawie których opracowana została niniejsza praca zebrane zostały głównie w MOK-u w Czchowie. Część ważnych informacji uzyskano także: w redakcji „Czasu Czchowa”, Miejskiej Bibliotece w Czchowie i Archiwum Państwowym w Bochni.
