Instrumentation of controlling on the example of the City Hall in Cracow

Celem pracy licencjackiej było przedstawienie kluczowych instrumentów controllingu. Niniejszą pracę uzupełnia literatura przedmiotu, dokumenty badanej organizacji oraz wyniki badań empirycznych, które zostały przeprowadzone wśród pracowników Urzędu Miasta w Krakowie. Zastosowaną metodą badawczą był wywiad, natomiast narzędziem badawczym kwestionariusz wywiadu, który umożliwił szczegółową analizę elementów controllingu w jednostce samorządu terytorialnego. Wyniki badań jednoznacznie wskazują, że system controllingu jest obecny w bieżącej działalności urzędu a jego instrumenty służą poprawie efektywności gospodarowania badaną instytucją.

The aim of this BA thesis is to present key instruments of controlling. The dissertation was written on the basis of the subject literature, documents of the studied organization and results of empirical research which were carried out among the employees of the City Hall in Cracow. The results were drawn from a questionnaire which helped to receive a detailed and thorough analysis of the elements included in the controlling process used by the local government unit. They clearly indicate that the controlling system is present in the general activity of the City Hall and its instruments serve to improve the efficiency of managing the studied institution.
