This article deals with the contracting procedure. Due to the variety of regulations and solutions adopted in different countries and international documents contracting procedure constitutes a complex and diversified subject matter. Particular emphasis was placed on the mailbox rule, the theory of sending and the receipt, as well as on the electronic offer. Analysis of individual components and original solutions provide a better understanding of the complexity of this subject in Polish law.
