The phenomena of resentment and its influence on contemporary perception of values.

Celem pracy licencjackiej jest ukazanie czym jest resentyment i w jaki sposób wpływa on na współczesne rozumienie świata wartości. Resentyment jest przedstawiony przez pryzmat dzieł Fryderyka Nietzschego i jego opisu zjawiska, oraz jego wpływ na spostrzeganie rzeczywistości. W pierwszym rozdziale podejmowany jest problem biografii Nietzschego i jego poglądów. W drugim autor koncentruje się na filozofii Maksa Schelera i jego próbie odpowiedzi na zarzuty stawiane wobec aksjologii przez Fryderyka Nietzschego. Trzeci rozdział stanowi zestawienie dotychczas zaprezentowanych poglądów obu filozofów oraz pokazanie w jaki sposób współczesne społeczeństwo narażone jest na resentyment i jak ważna jest edukacja w budowaniu społeczeństwa otwartego.

The goal of this bachelor’s thesis is to explain what resentment is and how it effects on the contemporary understanding of the world of values. Resentment is presented in the prism of Fryderyk Nietzsche's works and his description of the phenomenon, and it influences on the perception of reality. In the first chapter I depict the problem of Nietzsche's biography and his thoughts. In the second chapter I analyze focuses the philosophy of Max Scheler and his attempts to answer the critics related to the axiology by Friedrich Nietzsche. The third chapter takes a of form of summary of the thoughts of both philosophers presented so far and an explanation how contemporary society is exposed to resentment and how important education is in building an open society.
