Small and medium-sized enterprises are the leading sector of the Polish economy,which significantly affects the country's economic growth and employment. Barrier tothe development of small and medium-sized enterprises are the difficulties in raisingcapital.The aim of this master’s thesis is to present and compare the sources of fundingavailable to the sector of small and medium enterprises and identify those methods ofraising capital that enable the development of the company by investing in innovationactivities.The first chapter defines the concept of small and medium-sized enterprises anddescribes the condition of the small and medium-sized enterprises. The next chapterpresents the concept and the level of innovation of small and medium-sized enterprises.The third chapter presents the sources of the raising capital. The last chapter is devotedto the analysis of the sources of raising capital in Małkowski-Martech SA and HefalService SA.
