Employee motivation in Demel hotel

In this dissertation I focused on the issue of motivation plays a very important role in the functioning of enterprises. The dissertation consists of two parts. In the first part, I approached the concept of motivation, the oldest models, forms and functions. While the other part, is based directly on the example of a private Demel hotel. I described the hotel's history, structure of the hotel and used motivational factors on the different levels. I had also intended to overthrow the myth, whose premise is that all people are motivated by the same things. As well as I presented, and gave a deeper analysis, whole set of motivators from the financial remuneration, intangible, ending on non-wage, increasingly recognized in management.

W niniejszej pracy skupiłam się na zagadnieniu motywacji, która odgrywa bardzo ważną rolę w funkcjonowaniu przedsiębiorstw. Praca składa się z dwóch części. W części pierwszej, przybliżyłam pojęcie motywacji, najstarsze modele, formy oraz funkcje jakie pełni. Druga zaś część, oparta jest bezpośrednio na przykładzie prywatnego hotelu Demel. Opisana jest w niej historia hotelu, jego struktura oraz wykorzystywane na poszczególnych szczeblach elementy motywacji. Miałam także na celu obalenie mitu, którego założeniem jest, że wszyscy ludzie są motywowani przez te same rzeczy. Jak również przedstawiłam oraz poddałam głębszej analizie cały szereg motywatorów począwszy od wynagrodzeń finansowych, niematerialnych, kończąc na niematerialnych pozapłacowych, coraz bardziej docenianych w zarządzaniu.
