Modern society in the field of perception of the behavior of the population during the time of extermination based on the Auschwitz camp

Celem przeprowadzonych badań było uzyskanie odpowiedzi na temat stanu wiedzy współczesnej społeczności w zakresie odbioru zachowań ludności w czasach zagłady na przykładzie obozu KL Auschwitz. Część teoretyczna przedstawia zarys funkcjonowania obozu, jego powstanie, funkcje, cele a także likwidacje obozu. Rozdział drugi opisuje genezę powstania i znaczenie sloganu Arbeit Macht Frei, określa grupy narodowościowe a także przedstawia problematykę istoty egzystencji więźniów obozu KL Auschwitz. Następny rozdział nakreśla czynniki wpływające na zachowanie ludności niemieckiej w trakcie II wojny światowej przybliżając sytuację społeczno-gospodarczą Republiki Weimarskiej po I wojnie światowej, charyzmę przywódcy III Rzeszy i realizację polityki propagandowej przez jej władze. Ostatni rozdział zawiera metodologię badań, analizę, wnioski a także rekomendacje na podstawie których stwierdzono, że ankietowani nie posiadają wystarczającej wiedzy w zakresie potencjalnych motywów postępowania ludności w czasach zagłady na przykładzie obozu KL Auschwitz.

The purpose of the research was to answer the state of the art of modern society in the field of perception of the behavior of the population during the time of extermination based on the Auschwitz camp data. The theoretical part presents the outline of the camp, its creation, functions, purposes and also the liquidation of the camp. The second chapter takes into account the genesis of the uprising and the meaning of the slogan Arbeit Macht Frei, defines national groups, and presents the issues of the existence of the prisoners of the Auschwitz camp. The next chapter on the impact of factors influencing the behavior of the German population during World War II is approaching the socio-economic situation of the Weimar Republic after the First World War, the charisma of the leader of the Third Reich and actions to promote it by its organs. The last chapter contains the research methodology, extracts, conclusions and recommendations based on the stated that the respondents are not able to provide sufficient knowledge about the topics of conduct in cases when they are collected on the basis of KL Auschwitz.
