Tematem tej pracy magisterskiej jest „Abwehra i jej wpływ na przebieg II wojny światowej”. Abwehra jako wywiad wojskowy III Rzeszy była kluczowym elementem planu Hitlera do podbicia całej Europy. Ta praca ma za zadanie ukazać, iż rola Abwehry podczas II wojny światowej była niezwykle ważna i decydująca dla ostatecznych rozstrzygnięć. Wstęp ukazuje motywacje i powody stojące za wyborem takiego tematu oraz strukturę pracy. Pierwszy rozdział opisuje historię powstania niemieckich struktur wywiadowczych po przegranej I wojnie światowej, a także porusza temat rozległych i szerokich zmian jakie zaszły w strukturach Abwehry po tym, jak kierownictwo w niej objął Wilhelm Canaris. The topic of this Master Thesis is „Abwehr and its influence on the course of the World War II.” Abwehr as the military Intelligence service in Nazi German State, was crucial for their plan to conquer the Europe. This essay is trying to show that role of Abwehr during the World War II was essential and undisputed. The introduction is about research and motivations behind this particular thesis, and shows the structure of essay. First chapter talks about history of creation of German Intelligence after First World War and also about big changes that took place after Wilhelm Canaris became the Chief of this organisation. Second part firstly talk about war success that Abwehr was providing, especially during first years of conflict. Next in the second chapter there is history of internal conflict in Nazi Germany between two Intelligence services and their leaders, Canaris and Reinhard Heydrich of SA. Third chapter is about cooperation between Abwehr and Allies of World War II and also about collaboration with nazi opposition in Germany during World War II. Final chapter is about last months of the war. First part talks about different attempts to assassinate Hitler, along with the most spectacular one in July 1944. Second part is about investigation and execution of Canaris and other conspirators. Summary shows new opinions and evaluation of the of the Abwehr in World War Second.
