Reception of the voodoo in the popular movie on selected examples

W pracy tej pragnę odpowiedzieć na pytania jak religia wudu przedstawiana jest w filmach popularnych i dlaczego w taki sposób. W pierwszym rozdziale opisuje źródła wudu oraz historie powstania tej religii. W drugim skupiam się na zombie, jak postrzegają je wyznawcy, a jak twórcy filmowi. Trzeci rozdział traktuje o loa, opisuje czym są, jak odprawia się rytuału ku ich czci i jak przedstawiane są w filmach. Czwarty opowiada o praktykach magicznych zarówno o tych używanych przez wyznawców wudu jak i tych prezentowanych w filmach.

In this thesis I tried to answer questions how voodoo religion is seen in the popular movies and why it is seen in this way. The first chapter describes the sources of the voodoo religion and the history of its origins. In second chapter I focused on zombies, how the voodoo followers perceive them and how filmmakers do it. The third chapter treats about lwa, describes what they are and how they are seen in the movies. The fourth chapter is a description of magic practices, both those used by the followers of voodoo as well as those presented in popular films.
