The language and style of contemporary Polish rap

Praca Język i styl współczesnego polskiego rapu składa się ze wstępu, trzech rozdziałów i zakończenia. Celem pracy jest odnalezienie środków stylistycznych wykorzystany w utworach rapowych, które można zaklasyfikować jako gry słowne. Analizowany materiał obejmuje utwory wybranych artystów rapowych po roku 2000. Pierwszy rozdział to krótka historia rapu uwzględniająca powstanie gatunku, jego głównych przedstawicieli i ogólną charakterystykę grupy docelowej. Rozdział drugi poświęcony został twórczości rapowej i opisuje odmiany hip-hopu oraz poruszane w utworach tematy. Jest to też część pracy zawierająca krótką charakterystykę języka gatunku. Ostatni rozdział to analiza tekstów piosenek. Został on podzielony cztery podrozdziały i każdy z nich skupia się na innych tropach stylistycznych, pogrupowanych według podobieństwa formalnego.

The work The language and style of contemporary Polish rap consists of introduction, three sections and conclusion. The purpose of this work is to find stylistic means used in rap songs, which can be classified as word games. The material which was analyzed includes works of selected rap artists after 2000. The first chapter is a short rap story, including the creation of the genre, its main representatives and the general characteristics of the target group. The second chapter is devoted to rap art and describes the varieties of hip-hop and topics discussed in the works. It is also part of the work containing a short characterization of the language of the genre. The last chapter is the analysis of song lyrics. It has been divided into four sub-chapters and each of them focuses on other stylistic clues, grouped according to formal similiarity.
