This Thesis is devoted to the personage of Ann Sapieha of the Zamoyski family and involves mainly the period of her stay in France since 1803. It aims to enhance the image of that remarkable woman, who was not only a good mother and friend, but also she felt fulfilled in the world of financial management, though she did not experience happiness in her marriage. Based mostly on her diary and correspondence that have not been studied so far.
