Portret dziecka w poezji Wordswortha i Coleridge'a

Celem pracy było przedstawienie i omówienie sposobu portretowania dzieci w romantycznych wierszach Williama Wordswortha i Samuela Taylora Coleridge'a. Praca została podzielona na pięć sekcji. Pierwszy to wprowadzenie i opis romantycznych cech i wątków w poezji Wordswortha i Coleridge'a. Kolejne trzy rozdziały analizują twórczość poetów. Pierwszy rozdział koncentruje się na poezji Wordswortha z "Ballad Lirycznych". Drugi rozdział omawia wiersze poezji medytacyjnej Wordswortha. Trzeci rozdział poświęcony jest poezji S. T. Coleridge'a. Ostatnia część to wnioski podsumowujące obraz dziecka przedstawiony w wierszach Wordswortha i Coleridge'a. Ostatnia część opisuje także podobieństwa i różnice między obrazami dzieci obu poetów.

The purpose of the thesis was to present and discuss the portrayal of children in the Romantic poems of William Wordsworth and Samuel Taylor Coleridge. The thesis is divided in five sections. The first is an introduction and description of Romantic characteristics and themes of the poetry of Wordsworth and Coleridge. The subsequent three chapters analyse the works of the poets. The first chapter focuses on the poetry of Wordsworth from ‘Lyrical Ballads’. The second chapter discusses poems of Wordsworth’s meditative poetry. The third chapter is devoted for the poetry of S. T. Coleridge. The last section is a conclusion describing the portrayal of a child with comparisons of the poems of Wordsworth and Coleridge. The last section also describes the similarities and differences between the images of children of both poets.
