Psychological care for patients under the cardiac rehabilitation treatment

Celem pracy jest przedstawienie roli psychologa i znaczenie jego oddziaływań na pacjentów przebywających na oddziale rehabilitacji kardiologicznej. Praca ukazuje metody diagnostyki psychologicznej oraz różne sposoby oddziaływania psychologicznego, które mają na celu modyfikację stylu życia pacjentów oraz budowanie psychicznej dyspozycji do radzenia sobie z chorobą i jej następstwami. Praca pokazuje jakie zadania, stoją przed psychologiem pracującym z tą specyficzną grupą pacjentów. Przedstawia również poznawcze funkcjonowanie pacjentów, ich style radzenia sobie, reprezentacje choroby, różnice w podstrukturach Ja oraz w oparciu o badania ukazane są ich wpływy na proces adaptacji do leczenia oraz skuteczność rehabilitacji.Ukazana jest również analiza osobowości i zachowania pacjentów oraz opis Wzoru Zachowania A.Celem pracy jest również pokazanie jakie problemy natury psychologicznej mogą współistnieć razem z chorobą pacjentów oraz w jaki sposób wpływają one na przebieg leczenia rehabilitacyjnego.

The aim of the master's thesis is to present the role of the psychologist and importance of therapy effects on patients under the treatment of cardiac rehabilitation. It shows the methods of psychological diagnosis and different ways of psychological impact that could help patients to modify lifestyle and construct mental health in order to adapt and to cope with the disease and its consequences.Thesis shows also the main tasks that the psychologists working with this specific group of patients are to face. It also presents the cognitive functioning of patients, their coping styles, illness representations, the different substructures “I” and it’s influences on the process of adaptation to treatment and effective rehabilitation, based on specific studies.It includes presentation of personality analysis, behavior of patients and description of the Type A Behavior.The aim of dissertation is also to show what type of psychological problems can coexist with the patients disease and how it could affect the course of rehabilitation.
